Blurb:  Alexis Morgan has spent the past six years devoted to turning her tiny start-up into Manhattan’s premiere wedding planning company, The Wedding Belles. Now that her business is thriving, it’s time to turn towards her much neglected personal life, and Alexis approaches her relationships like she does everything else: with a plan. Not a part of that plan is Logan Harris, the silent partner in the Belles, and the one person who’s been there for her since the very beginning. But Alexis needs someone fun, and Logan’s all business, all the time—except when a late night at the office ends with an unexpected kiss that leaves the usually cool and together Alexis reeling.

Logan has lusted after Alexis since the day he walked into the tiny Harlem apartment that used to double as her office. But the ambitious wedding planner has always been untouchable…until now. Alexis has made it clear that she’s on the dating market—and equally clear that he’s not in the running. But when Alexis finds herself in need of a date for her sister’s last minute wedding in Florida, Logan knows it’s the perfect time to show Alexis that there’s more to him than numbers and spreadsheets—and beneath the pinstripes and glasses lies a hot-blooded heartthrob. As Florida’s sultry days turn into even hotter nights, Logan’s out to convince Alexis that the fling of a lifetime could just maybe turn into forever…

Review: I’ve been waiting for this book for a while and I’m so pleased with it! It has all the hot sex and witty banter that I’ve come to expect from this author, but the hero is British! You know how we all fall for the accent, right? Well, this book will make you fall in love with Logan. It’s hard to imagine how Alexis could NOT fall for him, with his looks, his accent, and his apparent willingness to do anything she wants him to.~sigh~

Alexis and Logan meet eight years ago, when she was sitting in a dive bar and gr8 ended up next to her. Going into business together on such a short acquaintance seemed crazy–but it worked crazy well! He was the silent partner and accountant. The first couple of years went fast, with Alexis and her co-workers doing everything. Now it’s time to step back and think about love. Both of the other owners had married, but not Alexis. What was she waiting for?

Logan knew his parents were expecting him to come back to London and take over their company. But he just wasn’t ready to leave. He still kept hoping Alexis would pull her head out and notice him. He was frustrated and everyone in the group knew about his feelings except for Alexis.

Alexis had Logan in the center of her heart–he was her best friend and being around him always made her feel safe. She knew she had feelings for him and that he had them for her, but she didn’t want to lose her best friend. It was better to ignore these feelings and always have him in her life, right? If they got together, it could end… and she couldn’t stand not having him there.

Apparently Logan didn’t feel the same. If she wasn’t going to face her feelings and let him into her world, he was going to find someone who would. And it might be in England since his parents were pressuring him.

Throw in her sister’s wedding to her ex-fiance, a couple of bridezillas, and a mother who won’t let it go and there’s plenty of time leftover for hot sex with this cool Brit. Will Logan convince Alexis to try again for love, or will he return home to England and end their relationship?

What does Alexis truly want? What comes first in her life, the business or the man? Great questions in a romance that’s sweet and sassy and full of love.
