Blurb: Getting experience with the guy next door seems like a great idea—until the lines blur.

Dev, a geeky first year physics student, has zero sexual experience and he’s determined to change that ASAP. After a bad time in halls of residence, he’s starting the summer term with different housemates and a new plan of action.

Ewan lives in the house next door to Dev. He’s young, free and single, and isn’t looking to change that anytime soon. When awkward circumstances throw them together, Ewan offers to help Dev out in the bedroom in return for maths tutoring, and Dev jumps at the chance.

They work their way through Dev’s sex-to-do list, but what starts as a perfect no-strings arrangement gets more complicated as their feelings for each other begin to grow. If they’re going to turn their lessons in lovemaking into something more permanent, they need to work out how they feel about each other—before they get to the end of Dev’s list.

Review: Dev likes lists. First thing he does after moving from campus to the shared townhome off campus is make a list. One of the things on the list of things to get done this school year is get some sexual experience with men in hopes of one day having a boyfriend. He puts a shocking profile on a grindr basically asking for someone to teach him about sex. Ewan the hunky neighbor sees this and warns Dev of the danger. He then offers to teach him if that’s what he wants. So Dev makes a list of everything he wants to try. In return Dev offers to tutor Ethan in school. Feelings get involved and things get complicated. Neither man thinks the other wants anything more than what they signed up for so they resist giving into the feelings they’re developing for each other.

I actually never read the first two books in this series. I know I missed some stuff but I think this could be read as stand alone. I certainly enjoyed it. I adored the MCs. Dev has a very distinct way about him. He’s very practical. Takes things literally. He’s been bullied in previous book so he’s cautious but finally able to live his life the way he wants. Ewan is fun and free. He needs to do well in his classes but the tutor help is really just a good excuse to spend time with Dev. They have great chemistry and he finds Dev interesting. Ewan doesn’t want to fall for Dev but that’s what he does. Dev sees their arrangement as sort of a business transaction. Ewan doesn’t really need a reason to hook up with Dev but he senses Dev needs to trade services. It makes for a little awkwardness but in a totally charming way. The guys are obviously into each other but they resist it so there’s some good tension. Their banter was fun. The build between them was especially delicious since they’re getting physical by checking things off their list. Secret smiles and yearning for something more had me anticipating them moment they’d be together again on page. I really liked this book. It was charming and very sexy. There’s some good humor as well. If you’re in the mood for something sweet and a little naughty with lovable characters I recommend picking up this book. I liked it!
