Blurb: Nerdy by day, naughty by night!
Nathan Wright has a secret life. During the day he’s a dedicated student, working hard for his maths degree. But times are tough, and in order to make ends meet by night he becomes “Einstein”, wooing punters with his online solo sex show. Still wounded by his last dysfunctional relationship, Nathan’s happy being single. But when his highest tipping client demands it, Einstein has to overcome his social awkwardness to rope in some extra help.
Party boy Rory Jones has never given his geeky neighbour a second glance, but he’s not one to turn down the offer of a free blow job, even when Nathan tells him it’s going online. Once on camera, Rory discovers his exhibitionist streak and the two of them are so hot together, the one-off becomes a regular gig.
But being neighbours with benefits isn’t without its challenges. Nathan’s client keeps wanting more, and he finds himself pushed into a role he’s not prepared for. Meanwhile Rory’s growing affection leaves him worried his ultra-rational lover won’t ever be able to share his emotions. If he and Nathan can’t find something more than great sex in common, they’ll be left with the square root of absolute zero.
Review: Rory didn’t expect the offer of a blow job from his somewhat geeky neighbor. But really, who turns down a blow job? Certainly not Rory. And it’s going to be on camera for an anonymous viewer. Whatever. Rory is game. And it’s good. So good. Nathan didn’t realize his client would only want to see him with Rory after the blow job. Nathan has to ask Rory to do more online porn with him if he’s going to be able to pay his rent and continue putting himself through school. Rory obliges. The sex Nathan’s client wants can be somewhat degrading, and Nathan really doesn’t like bottoming all that much, but Rory makes it fun. Nathan comes to realize they’re friends. It’s hard for Nathan to follow social cues, so it’s nice to have a friend. Unfortunately, Nathan has trouble understanding his own emotions at times. Trying to cope with Rory’s emotions on top of his own makes for awkward situations and miscommunication. Rory and Nathan need to figure out exactly what’s going on in the other man’s mind.
This was a very charming, erotic short. It was sort of a relationship of convenience becoming a whirlwind romance. The big issue for the guys is dealing with Nathan’s lack of understanding of social cues. He also needs to realize Rory is not the same as his crappy ex-boyfriend. Nathan and Rory are very much opposites. Both starting out in life as best as they can, but Rory is shamelessly blue collar while Nathan is as academically oriented as the day is long. Whereas on paper it shouldn’t work between these two guys, Rory makes things fun for Nathan while Nathan acts as a calming influence on Rory. These guys just worked and made the story fun to read. Great for an afternoon.
