Review: Finally! Book 3 in this fascinating series! I have been looking forward to this since reading book 1! And, as expected, Carter Quinn doesn’t disappoint.
Henry’s life has been hell since his husband disappeared months ago. Book 1 is about Henry’s attempt to deal with the loss of his husband, while allowing the reader into the deep bond they shared with their adopted son, CJ,and a close knit group of friends. The characters are so vividly portrayed that you can feel the support for Henry and CJ through the pages. In book 2, even more problems and revelations emerge, deepening the mystery around the loss of Tom. And it’s all resolved in book 3.
And dammit. Just dammit. There are so many twists and turns in this story that I can’t say much without giving up major spoilers! There are smoking hot private investigators, and plenty of action. Captivating.
My recommendation is to start this series, if you haven’t already. At this writing, the first book is on sale for .99. That makes this series affordable for even the tightest book budget. Give yourself a treat for Christmas, or gift it to a friend, and…
