Blurb: One Lonely Widower…Rohn Lerner is a successful Oklahoma rancher. He’s old enough to know what he likes, and still young enough to enjoy it. But losing his wife five years ago wore him thin. He’s not ready to date, but he needs someone to share a meal with as badly as someone to warm his bed.

One Woman with a Secret…Bonnie Martin fled her Oklahoma home years ago, leaving behind her abusive father, and Rohn, the lost love she never forgot. Now she’s back to settle her father’s estate, but she has no idea that she’s about to bump into Rohn or that they’ll fall for each other all over again.

One Night That Changes Everything…

Review: Rohn’s only loved two women in his life. His wife Lila and his high school love Bonnie Blue. Lila had been his wife for sixteen years, but she’s been gone for five years from cancer. He’s lonely and he wonders every now and then what happened to Bonnie. They’d had a tumultuous love affair the summer after their senior year in high school; and even though he knew she was going to college in the fall, he’d assumed they’d stay together. When she just disappeared without saying goodbye, he never knew what had happened or why she’d left so suddenly–but it had taken a long time to get over her.

Bonnie never regretted leaving her father’s house in Oklahoma that summer. He was a drunken a$$hole and he’d pushed her past her breaking point. Luckily her mother divorced him soon after and joined her in Arizona at college. She’s never had to go back and see him or deal with their tattered relationship. The only thing she does regret is how she left Rohn. Their love had bloomed that summer, but she was too young and overwhelmed to deal with everything that happened; she’d run away and left him behind, along with her dad and her broken dreams of them being together.

Life always surprises you when you least expect it, and when Bonnie gets the call that her dad’s passed and left her his house, she’s faced with a decision. Since she’s not ever going to be able to settle things with her dad, maybe she can get some kind of closure by going and taking care of his stuff. Maybe by dealing with the crap he left behind physically, she can help herself deal with the emotional crap she’s been carrying around for twenty-five years…

When Rohn spots Bonnie in line at the local barbeque place, he can’t believe it. Even though she’s a little standoffish, soon he’s stopping by to help with the cleaning. When it becomes obvious to them both that the sparks are still there, even twenty-five years later, will they take a chance on love, part two? Or will Bonnie again take the cop out of “leaving soon” to run out on Rohn a second time?

This time, will Rohn let her?
