Blurb: It’s the most wonderful time of the year . . . to fall in love

The temperature is dropping, snow is on its way and Hayley Walker is heading for New York with one wish on her mind…to start over.

With her nine year-old daughter Angel, Hayley is ready for an adventure. From hot chocolates and horse-drawn carriage rides in Central Park, to ice-skating at the Rockefeller Centre, and Christmas shopping on 5th Avenue – they soon fall in love with the city that never sleeps.

But there’s more to New York than the bright twinkly lights and breathtaking skyscrapers. Angel has a Christmas wish of her own – to find her real dad.

While Hayley tries to fufil her daughter’s wish, she crosses paths with billionaire Oliver Drummond. Restless and bored with fast living, there’s something intriguing about him that has Hayley hooked.

Determined to make her daughter’s dream come true, can Hayley dare to think her own dreams might turn into reality – could A New York Christmas turn into a New York Forever?

Travel to the Big Apple this Christmas and join Hayley and Oliver as they both realise that life isn’t just about filling the minutes…it’s about making every moment count.

Review: This surprisingly sweet story was long and twisty; and even though I could guess what might happen, it was wonderful to witness the well-constructed happy ending when it came. Who doesn’t love a great Christmas romance? I sure do, and this was a happy mix of funny dialogue, perfect Christmas scenery, realistic characters and a plot line that clicked. A perfect read for a winter weekend! The only problem is now I want to go!

Ten years ago, Hayley visited New York City and took back an indelible reminder of her one night stand with handsome artist Michel De Vos–her nine year old daughter Angel. Things hadn’t been easy for them, as her mother reminded her frequently, but Hayley loved her daughter and never regretted having her. What she did regret–after hearing her daughter’s whispered Christmas wish–was that Angel didn’t know her father. So what had started out as a simple trip to New York to visit her brother Dean had become much more than a vacation; it was going to be a search for the man she’d hooked up with that fateful night. Hayley really needed this to work because everything else was screwed up–she’d quit her job, had very little money, and had given up hope of ever getting to work in the fashion industry like she’d dreamed of for so long. If she could make her daughter’s wish come true, at least she’d feel like she’d accomplished something.

But New York City is a big place and she’s only got a limited time. Having researched online and scoured her old journal from that long-ago trip, she hits the ground running and quickly enlists her brother’s help. Luckily she’s able to incorporate a lot of her sleuthing into their many whirlwind “tours” of the city, and her brother takes Angel in the evening so she can revisit the night spots of her past. One night she meets up with another handsome New Yorker, Oliver, who offers her a wish. When she whispers, “find my daughter’s father,” it surprises him so much he’s intrigued and wants to help.

As Hayley keeps hitting dead ends in her search for Michel, her relationship with Oliver gets closer. She realizes how much she loves being in New York and how much she wishes she could make a fresh start there with Angel. She’s burned her bridges back home, and she gets the sinking feeling from her mother’s increasingly angry texts that she’s found Hayley’s old journal and KNOWS EVERYTHING. When a temporary job turns into an opportunity she can’t turn down, she and Angel start dreaming of ‘what if?’

But when Oliver turns out to be a player and she can’t find Michel De Vos anywhere, is it time to give up?

Or does Santa have one more miracle in his sleigh?

This is a great, funny story with a lot of heart that’s got enough sexy heat for even the naughtiest of readers! Give it to all the romance lovers on your list–they’ll thank you.
