Blurb: When Honey Perribow traded in her cowboy boots for stilettos and left her small Kentucky town to attend Columbia University, she never expected to find a dirt-cheap apartment or two new best friends. No stranger to hard work, Honey is completely focused on her medical degree … until she sees newly minted professor Ben Dawson, and her concentration is hijacked. Honey is fascinated by her gorgeous young English professor and vows to find a crack in his tweed-wearing, glasses-clad exterior.

At an off-campus party, an accident lands Ben in a dark, locked closet with a sexy-sounding Southern belle … and their chemistry is explosive. But when he discovers that the girl in his arms is the same beautiful student he can’t stop thinking about, he is stunned. Student-teacher relationships are strictly forbidden … yet no matter how hard he tries, Ben can’t stay away from Honey.

And when his attempt to fight their attraction nearly ruins the best thing that ever happened to him, Ben will do anything to prove how much he needs her.

Review: Tessa Bailey is one of my go-to authors for hot and steamy and this book is no exception–even though it was NA. She’s an amazing writer and she’s got the relationship stuff down to an art. The characters are always hot and a little troubled, and the build up is always exciting and hard to put down. And the conclusion? Gangbusters! Hard to explain but impossible to deny the HEAT that Ms. Bailey brings to my kindle. I swear, it’s smoking!

The first book in this series, Chase Me, was delicious, and set up this book flawlessly. Honey Perribow is a lucky girl. She’s attending the school of her dreams, found a great apartment with two roommates that are quickly becoming friends, and is crushing hard on her English professor. But Honey has worked hard to get where she is, and don’t just assume because she’s gorgeous that she’s used her looks to get up the ladder. Ask her why she wants to be a doctor and you’ll understand why.

Ben Dawson is excited to be starting his professorship at Columbia University, and he’s determined not to follow in his father’s footsteps and bring scandal to his family. He’s going to tread the straight and narrow–and that means not getting involved with coeds. Even the intelligent Ms. Perribow, who has written a paper that has won his heart. And especially the very attractive blonde hottie that’s giving him a hard-on every time he teaches her class. Surprise! They are one and the same–looks and smarts in one package–plus she’s the third roommate in the trio of women who are currently running around with his two friends Louis and Russell. How can he avoid her?

Unable to stay away from each other, they stumble into a relationship that has to be limited by necessity. He’s her professor, and they both could get into a lot of trouble if they are found out. And of course, because of his past and a father that screwed around, Ben is really sensitive to any impropriety and develops a frustrating game of back and forth that makes not only Honey but the reader want to SLAP. HIS. FACE. He does something incredibly stupid that comes back to bite him…and especially HONEY…in the face. And when the inevitable happens, can he do what it takes to fix it? And will Honey ever forgive him?

Thank goodness he’s a dirty-talking alpha man all duded up in an English professor’s guise. Tessa Bailey’s books, NA or not, all involve the most delicious of men with the most obstinate of ladies. The proverbial push-pull of personalities along with the hottest sex scenes known to my kindle (and man!) will keep you reading up until the very last page. Frustrating, delicious, naughty…what else would you ever want? Thanks for the new trilogy, Ms. Bailey! I’m pre-ordering Make Me right now!
