Blurb: She’s about to make a deal with the college bad boy…

Hannah Wells has finally found someone who turns her on. But while she might be confident in every other area of her life, she’s carting around a full set of baggage when it comes to sex and seduction. If she wants to get her crush’s attention, she’ll have to step out of her comfort zone and make him take notice…even if it means tutoring the annoying, childish, cocky captain of the hockey team in exchange for a pretend date.

…and it’s going to be oh so good

All Garrett Graham has ever wanted is to play professional hockey after graduation, but his plummeting GPA is threatening everything he’s worked so hard for. If helping a sarcastic brunette make another guy jealous will help him secure his position on the team, he’s all for it. But when one unexpected kiss leads to the wildest sex of both their lives, it doesn’t take long for Garrett to realize that pretend isn’t going to cut it. Now he just has to convince Hannah that the man she wants looks a lot like him.

Review: Elle Kennedy is an amazing writer, and I would love to get her books into the hands of more people! Her adult books are incredible–the Out of Uniform series is fantastic and sexy HOT!–and this new NA group is really really great. If you’ve missed her, grab hold of your seat because once you start, you’re not going to be able to STOP!

Hannah Wells had something horrible happen to her in high school. So escaping her past and being successful in college is a big deal for her. Winning the music department’s Winter Showcase is even more important–it’s worth $5,000 and would save her parents a lot of stress. Plus–NEWS FLASH–for the first time in a while she’s interested in a guy in her class, and he seems to be interested in her–but she’s not sure. If she could just get that a$$wipe hockey player Garrett Graham out of her way! He keeps trying to get her attention and wants her to help him pass the class. She doesn’t have time for that–plus he’s a huge player and reminds her of the dark part of her past she’s trying to forget. But Garrett offers up an irresistible deal…

Garrett Graham notices the really cute girl in his philosophy class the same day he gets a failed test back. Briar College’s administration has a very low tolerance for athlete’s not passing classes–so he’s got to get his grades up so he can play on the hockey team–especially with the championships coming up. When she drops her books, he helps her pick them up and sees that she got an A. Asking her to help him doesn’t get him far, but offering to help her get the interest of Justin Kohl, football player extraordinaire, does. So he’s got a tutor!

Garrett is genuinely a funny, smart guy and as Hannah gets to know him, she starts to understand that there is a real person underneath the cocky athlete.  There are plenty of college-sized bumps in the road as they get to know each other and help one another through all the things that happen their Junior and Senior year. But this story comes across as honest and the characters are flawed but real. The love scenes are hot, the emotional scenes intense, and the ending made my heart smile. It doesn’t matter that it was New Adult, I loved it just as much as anything I’ve read. There is a timeless quality to this story and it made me want my VERY. OWN. GARRETT. I just loved that guy!

And you can keep on reading because the next book about John Logan, The Mistake, is already out. Enjoy!
