Blurb: In the kingdom of Teruna, the red-cloaked Seruani teach the Terunans the art of love. Taken from their homes at seventeen to be trained, they are shunned as outcasts by society and considered the lowest of the low. So when Prince Tanish falls in love with the Seruan Feyar, the man who took his virginity and the only one to share his bed, he is not about to declare that love. No one can ever know, because the consequences would be too painful to consider for both of them.
When the king of Vancor visits Teruna, he promises that his son, Prince Sorran, will marry Prince Tanish to solidify the alliance between the two kingdoms, with the proviso that the virginal Sorran is instructed in the art of pleasing his husband-to-be. When Tanish’s father chooses Feyar to be this instructor, the lovers decide Prince Sorran must be taught that this is to be a marriage in name only….
A resentful prince, unwilling to share his lover.
A resentful Seruan, unwilling to share his prince.
And the shy prince whose very nature sparks changes in the lives of all those around them.
Teruna is about to change forever.
Review: At seventeen Feyar was taken from his home and made Seruan. Seruan is a person who teaches the pleasures of the flesh. They are regarded with disdain and treated as if they are invisible. When Prince Tanish came to the Seruanal for the first time, his eyes locked with Feyar’s and they have been together ever since. That was seven years ago and both men are completely in love with each other but are unable to tell anyone due to Feyar’s status in the kingdom. There have been rumors that the kingdom of Kandor, is looking to start a war and to prevent that, Tanish’s father – the King wants to form an alliance with the kingdom of Vancor. Even if that means Tanish is to marry their heir.
Sorran – Price of Vancor is different. He has dreams of things that will come to pass and he sees colors surrounding people. It’s just really hard for him to accept sometimes. On his journey to the kingdom of Teruna, he starts to get the feeling that things are coming and that his destiny lies ahead.
When the King’s decide that Sorran and Tanish will marry, Tanish does not take it well. He never thought he would be made to marry anyone and he is not happy about losing Feyar. He is also not happy that they have requested that Feyar be the one to teach Sorran how to please his soon to be husband. Both Feyar and Tanish have decided that they are going to hate Sorran and both of them treat him terribly. Sorran is left in a new place, without anyone he knows and feels so alone. When Tanish finally comes back after leaving the palace for a few days and hears Sorran crying, he realizes how awful he has treated him. When he brings this to Feyar’s attention they decide that they will talk to Sorran and advise him that Tanish will sit in or participate during his lessons. This way neither Tanish or Feyar will become jealous while the other is spending time with Sorran. When they all three meet to talk about this, Sorran has a heartbreaking realization. Tanish and Feyar are lovers and he is being lied to. He thought his destiny was here but now he is not so sure.
When Sorran chooses to see where things can lead by joining them and becoming three, things really start to come together. It doesn’t take long for these three men to fall in love with each other. Then, Sorran is kidnapped and the Kings health has taken a turn for the worse. Tanish has no idea what he will do and Feyar is unable to even be by his men’s side due to him being Seruan. They need a change and they need one fast, before Tanish loses everything he loves.
I loved this book! My first thought when I finished this story was awww. And my second, was NOOOO it can’t be over. 🙂 I loved this fantasy world that the author has created. This was one of those books that grabbed me right from the get go and I had such a hard time putting it down. It was sweet, the angst was low and it was everything I look for in a read. I enjoyed it from the first page all the way till the last. The sex scenes between the three were written perfectly. I loved the MC and hope that the author writes more in this world.
