Its About The Book

I can't seem to stop reading about war lately.  I guess it's hard to think of anything else when we are commencing our fifth year in Iraq.  Even the fiction I choose now seems to be about war.  I just finished reading Orson Scott Card's near future horror story, "Empire"... It just seems too easily imaginable.  It seems like a small leap to the idea that power and money are so tightly concentrated that a few demagouges with the right mixture of money and power could bring our democracy to its knees.
I think its time to read a nice trashy romance novel.
